All babies are special whether it is your first or your third & in some families it can be both 🙂  Jess knows what a miracle is about to occur but Dean will be experiencing it all with fresh eyes & a fresh heart. This little person is going to be surrounded by people who love him or her. And the girls did tell me they ordered a boy because they already have a sister each– logical really. 😉
My favourite sessions are the ones where people let me in to their houses & to their lives, even if it is only for a couple of hours 😉  Little Charlotte was so close to taking her first steps on the afternoon I spent with her & her family. You can see the determination on her face & there was no way she was going to be carried around. She is going to do BIG things.
I just love documenting this little family. Two years ago Ruby was a baby & Lawson was a four year old with dreams of being a cowboy. It’s amazing how much things can change for small people in that amount of time. 🙂
Little Halle slept like a little angel for pretty much our entire session (just to make a liar out of her parents who informed me that she was normally VERY awake at this time). And after an entirely overcast day the sun made up for lost time with some amazing light shining down on their little family.
